Originally from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Kate Kazlo began her professional career at Shabby Chic managing their retail divisions from New York to Los Angeles. Wanting to bring her knowledge of the home industry back to the Midwest, Kate, with her sister Amy, opened her retail location, The Home Market, in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward in 2006. After opening the store, Kate found that many of her customers were requesting her help to make their own spaces replicate the feel of The Home Market eventually evolving into an interior design business that was collaborative with the retail store. 

In 2021, Senior Designer Ashley Evans, joined Kate bringing her fresh style, expertise and years of experience to further expand the business. After incredible growth of the design portion of her business across the United States, as well as continuing a busy as ever brick and mortar retail store, Kate Kazlo Interiors was born. Currently Kate Kazlo Interiors provides residential design throughout the United States, including projects in the Milwaukee area as well many projects spanning the East and West Coast. These projects include working with architects, contractors and local vendors specific to the client location
