Kate Kazlo, founder and owner of Kate Kazlo Interiors and The Home Market, has designed, styled, and project managed home builds, renovations and refreshes across the country for over fifteen years. Kate’s career in interior design and home furnishings began in 1999. In 2006 she opened her store, The Home Market, with her now-signature style of elevated classic neutrals in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward neighborhood. Customers soon began requesting Kate’s expertise in their own homes, hoping to replicate the look and feel of the store. Kate’s design business evolved with the growth of the store, and today she sources and brings to clients a mix of vintage and new pieces found from Paris flea markets to sought-after trade sources.
In 2021, Senior Designer Ashley Evans joined the team, and in 2022, Designer Julia Moerchen joined as well. The growth of the team has brought new ideas, years of experience, and an expertise in computer renderings to Kate Kazlo Interiors. Today, Kate Kazlo Interiors works with clients, architects, contractors and local vendors to build, design and create welcoming, elevated spaces that bring The Home Market to homes across the country.

Although we are located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, our team works on projects across the United States.
